Having managed to survive the ruthless Hunger Games, Katniss Everdeen and Pete Mellark return home. But now they are in even greater danger, since their refusal to play by the rules in the Arena challenged the Capitol. By tradition, the next, anniversary, Hunger Games should be special, and this time only the winners of past years participate in them. Katniss and Pete are forced to re-enter the Arena, where they will compete with the strongest. The rules of the game are changing.
